Our team here at ABS is honored to be recognized by the BHCOE for being best in 2017 for staff satisfaction! We take pride in what we do, how we do it, and who we work with.

Check out what it’s like to be a behavior technician working at ABS from some of our employees.

Meet a Few Behavior Technicians!

“A typical day for me looks like running around trying to keep up with my kiddos energy and drinking lots of coffee! It’s so rewarding when I see a client master a skill that we’ve been working on for a while, like potty training, writing, etc.” – Krista, RBT

“I decided on this career because I love to help others especially the young generations below me. There is nothing more rewarding to me than seeing these kids grow and succeed in opportunities they couldn’t before. The atmosphere at ABS is amazing and everyone is on board with each other working together.” – Sammy RBT

“The best part of my day is seeing clients make steps towards reaching their goals. Sometimes you can be working on a goal for months, but that moment that it finally clicks and you start to see improvement is so rewarding. It makes all the hard work worth it. ” – Hannah RB

Meet A Few BCBAs that Started as RBTs!

“Being able to train and support new BCBA’s is my favorite part of my job at ABS. Seeing a clinician’s skills and confidence grow, and seeing the positive changes they then make in their clients’ lives keeps me coming back every day. ” – Kristyn BCBA

“As the Training Director, I am in charge of ensuring all incoming RBTs get the training and support they need. I make sure they are confident as they enter their new job. I started as an RBT so I know how important initial training is. I love watching new hires progress in their role here at ABS!” – Josh, Assistant Director over Training

“As the Assistant Director over the ABA therapy clinic, I have the opportunity to work with our amazing RBTs and BCBAs in the office. I also have a few clients that I get to go support in the field. I spend the majority of my time in the ABA therapy clinic planning and building an environment tailored to stimulate learning for children with autism spectrum disorder.” – Nicole Assistant ABA Clinic Director
